Homes Estate Agents has just won The British Property Lettings Gold Winner Award for outstanding customer service levels delivered by their Regional Lettings Team. The team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period and they have now been shortlisted for a number of additional national awards which will be announced early next year.
Feedback we’ve been receiving from some customers is that they thought that Homes Estate Agents was part of a much larger, national chain – which we guess could be viewed as both good and bad news! So we’ve recently been asking a number of customers, who thought this was the case, why it was? It’s been quite interesting for us to understand their reasons, but it has also served to remind us that we constantly need to underline the fact that we are local specialists, with all the benefits this brings. We firmly believe that as a smaller independent agent we’re able to offer a much better value service – tailored to individual requirements and with that personal level of attention and commitment which is so important to sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants. One of the many advantages of using Homes’ Full Management Service is we can take responsibility for the annual Gas Safety Certificate, if applicable, which is very topical as this week is Gas Safety Week.
Latest reports from Homes Estate Agents show that residential sales across the local region were quite strong in the summer holiday period. This period can understandably be quieter than normal, as sellers and buyers’ attention is distracted by the seasonal school holiday break. However, like for like sales in July to August 2018 were on par with the same period last year and average prices achieved were also slightly up on last year. Homes Estate Agents maintained it’s No.1 position for residential sales, accounting for 20.2% of all sales agreed in the local market.
Homes Estate Agents have teamed up with Treloar’s School & College and we’ve kicked off this new partnership by sponsoring the production of Treloar’s Today, their twice yearly news publication. The magazine gives a great insight into this incredible local facility in Holybourne and the amazing work done by all involved to make a huge difference to the education of their 170 disabled students. The winners in this summer’s Homes Estate Agents Kids Art Competition were chosen from over 60 entries in 3 age categories. Budding artists were asked to paint or draw their favourite animal’s home and the judges had a difficult task in choosing the winners, as the standard was really high.
