Gold fish story

Not all house moves go swimmingly…. this week, Homes was happy to come to the rescue when a family buying through us found themselves temporarily homeless.

When Mum and two children aged 13 and 10 arrived at our office in Grayshott and heard the property they were buying had not completed, the team at Homes rallied round to take care of the family, their pets, find storage for belongings and arranged temporary accommodation.

We kept the office open until very late that night, so that the family could eat and Ellie, one of our team kept the children amused. Cat Bob seemed happy sleeping in the car and Conker the dog was looked after by grandparents.

We’re storing some of the family’s boxes in our office and we organised temporary storage for larger items.

Finding homes is what we do, so our lettings team worked their magic to the family of three temporary accommodation until they can move into their new home.

As you can see from the photo, Goldfish Red and Sucky are now happily settled in their new roles with us in Grayshott until their owners are happily settled.

Our new aquatic agents have a different view of the market living in their Covid safe bowl. We have been impressed by their calm manner and adaptability under pressure.
